The Wedding day of Joey and Ashley

When there is a wedding, like this one was, with so many in attendance, and so much happening, there are always SO many photos! Its difficult to decide which ones I should share, without showing the thousands that they received! Every picture tells a story, though I’ll try to add to them if necessary.

A few of them getting ready for the day….

The bride helped do the hair of one of the flower girls. Then she helped the other one to get dressed!
They felt so pretty, like prinesses!
A few twirls in your flower girl dress is so much fun!
The bride got her dress on with the help of her bridesmaids.

The bride and groom chose to do a first look before the ceremony took place. It can be more intimate if you don’t have an entire audience of people watching you.

We did a few shots after the first look. Above are the groomsmen and the ring bearers.
Things got a little dicey for a few minutes… all in fun.
The bride with her bridesmaids.
This is the bride with her mother and her mothers mother.
The pretty little flower girls and the ring security…. ring bearers. They took their job seriously!

And here we go. There was a string quartet who played the music as the guests waited for the ceremony, and they played as the bridal party walked downt the aisle. They sounded beautiful!

The bride was given away by her brothers.
A true look of love.
The looks of love are always followed by strong looks of happiness!
Time for the rings. The ring security delivered them safely and on time.
You may now kiss as husband and wife!
Presenting Mr & Mrs!

After the ceremony we headed outside and got the posed shots. Generally, on a wedding day the mamority of the posed photos are taken between the ceremony and the reception. We try to get more candid photos once the posed ones have been done.

There were a few speeches along with toasts.

The bride and groom had their first dance.

A mother and son dance was done, followed by the father/daughter dance.

The brides father had passed away years ago, so her brother danced with her instead. He wore a dress shirt of their fathers. There were tears all around! The bride also did a mother/dauther dance as well.

The cutting of the cake has a posed shot at the beginning and then the rest are candid.

The rest of the reception was food and dancing! Everyone had so much fun dancing.

There was a light stick send off. The mother of the bride surprised them with an antique car to drive away in.

May they live happily ever after!!
